Cornea & Refractive Services

The cornea is the clear front dome shaped window of the eye. It provides about 2/3 of the eye's focusing power. It gives us a clear window to look through and is the key to good vision. It also helps shield the rest of the eye from germs, dust, and other harmful pollutants.

The Services at Nethra is dedicated to the health and functioning of Cornea. We pride ourselves at being the most experienced unit in the state. Our unparallel expertise and state of the art equipment allow us to offer excellent medical and surgical treatment of the full range of routine, complex and high risk Corneal and external diseases, as well as the most current vision correction procedures. The Cornea Service treats patients with disorders of the Cornea and outer coats of the eye, including the conjunctiva and sclera.
